rewatching the 2009 V series, which was the show that got me interesting in this franchise when it came out, and one thing ill say is that its way too faster paced and also feels significantly smaller in scale, to the point where it kinda....doesnt hold up to the original?

like the 1st episode has the visitors arrival in like a 5 minute cold open and jumps straight to 3 weeks later after the commercial break.....bro you gotta let that shit marinate

also the main characters of the resistance to a fascism allegory being an fbi agent and a priest so far instead of a journalist and a doctor/scientist is a bit lol to me thinkin about it

i mean do different things with reboots and everything but this show just feels kinda....toothless than the original miniseries or something
