LINKS (Even though I don't have many followers)

  • Tumblr (Pretty much dead, but I might start using it again)
  • Bluesky (Brand-new account as of today, haven't posted anything there yet)
  • Instagram (Yes, I know it's just Facebook, I've slowly been falling off of this one)
  • Neocities (WIP)
  • SpaceHey (I often forget this exists)
  • Discord: tymothywithawai

Man, I'm gonna miss this place. I understand entirely why it's getting sunsetted, but it doesn't make it any less suck.

This was a great place for me to get my thoughts out anonymously. I couldn't do that on Twitter (which I quit using when Muskrat bought it) because of the character limit, and I still can't do it on Instagram because it requires that I have a picture or video attached to the post. The community here was wonderful, I don't know if I would be able to go on Tumblr and post some of the same stuff there without people just being outright assholes about it.

I wish everybody from @staff the best wherever their lives bring them. Please, take care of yourselves. <3

Same goes for all of the members here. Be well, everyone <3

I know nobody followed me here but just in case anyone does see this because I'll be tagging this, I'm @daemonspudguy most places and u/demonpotatojacob on Reddit.
RIP Cohost. It was great while it lasted.

...Okay.

So, anyone got some advice they can provide for someone, an artist, looking to make their own personal website? Specifically as a place to post their artwork, with a gallery function, and also to share other spaces they're at?

Or rather, in short, I'm looking for folks to share what they advice as good website crafting apps or programs or stuff. Maybe good hosting places too, that are at free or reasonable pricing.

I hear a lot of neocities but I don't think I've really fully learned about it to really understand it, never tried to. I might consider it, but like, yeah I could use some help and advice, considering a comfy place like this is going away, I wanna try to make my own. At least, try.
