##The Cohost Global Feed

I utterly despise the evangelical white right, their beliefs, their plans for everyone not them, and I especially despise the rubber stamp criminal the American version of the movement hopes to get back into power.

Yes, Biden has been in obvious mental decline for a while. Trump's mental decline has also been obvious, but Trump's default mode of talking is to lie loudly and repeatedly and he doesn't actually have to think about what he's saying. Of course he's going to seem sharp. A parrot always seems clever when it asks for a cracker too. It's still using a bird brain.

The Democrats, in their infinite idiocy of acting like it's still 1993, have been doing everything they can to alienate Zoomers and Millennials because they believe the black vote is still enough to carry them. The only good thing is that people know what Trump is all about. If they decide to give him a pass by either voting for him or not voting against him, then they'll be to blame for the loss of their rights under the plans of the American evangelical movement and their white supremacist partners.

Hopefully they will mobilize to kill the societal cancer he's the figurehead of.

"Durrr. What do you care. You're Canadian!"

Let me lay the truth down for you to pick up: Canada has always been monkey-see-monkey-do when it comes to American politics. While our right wing politicians lack the bellowing audacity of their American peers, they will happily use American culture war nonsense because Canadians are very stupid people who watch too much American TV. Parliament will shift rightward this coming election and Canadians will lose some rights and entitlements under their regime.

Our healthcare system will be dead within a decade.

Look to the shitshow that is the UK, Canada. That is your future because you always wanted to be the 51st state.

My accuracy at prediction was proven with this comic, as just a year later Trump spewed nonsense as thousands died from Covid. At the time I drew it because his administration was sticking children in concentration camps in the desert. Remember that? No, you don't. No one does.

If you're a queer American expect to be in the truck in a few years if the American right gain full control.

Chocolatier: Laura Secord
Flavor: Dark Chocolate Maple Crunch
What I Paid: $4.49 (CAD)

It's time to try the last chocolate that I purchased during my trip to Montreal!

Laura Secord is a Canadian chocolatier named after a historical figure. The company was founded in Toronto in 1913, and, despite changing ownership nearly half a dozen times, they are still kicking have a bunch of stores across the eastern half of Canada. Today I'm gonna try their Dark Chocolate Maple Crunch bar - let's dig in!

This bar is a 50% cocoa chocolate that is made using maple sugar. I'm not really sure why they called it a "crunch" bar, because it really doesn't have any crunchiness to it? The maple sugar does give the bar a bit of a sandy texture, but nothing I would describe as "crunch".

The flavor of this bar is bold, intense, and complex. When you bite into it you are greeted with a blast of maple that is sweet, caramelly, and a little bit woody. This maple flavor is shortly joined by and equally strong hit of deeply bitter roasted cocoa, and the lingering finish is slightly earthy and surprisingly tannic.

I really, really like this one! The flavor of the chocolate and the maple are well balanced and play to each other's strengths. The maple tames the bitterness of the chocolate, and the chocolate enhances the complex notes of the maple. My only problem with this bar is that it is going to be hard to get my hands on another one! (International shipping is expensive. T_T)

After playing in garbage Reksio is dirty and doesn't want to be washed. He changes his mind after getting fleas however.

I feel this is Reksio at his most dog-like thus far. With this episode I bid you farewell for a month as I take my summer break.
