There's only three days left and I want my little goblin weirdo.

I have unlocked two Vocations in DQX: Monster Master and Item Master. They're both pet classes that allows you to recruit certain monsters as one of your party members. Monster Master recruits the usual monsters made of flesh and bones like the one in my screenshot and I didn't play Item Master but I believe you recruit monsters that are inanimate objects like machinery, golems, or furniture(think mimics). They each have their own stats and can level up. You can give them armor and weapons. At every town there is a taven and below that is the Monster Tavern where you get to station a number of your Monsters. If you unlock both Mon and Item, the number of monsters you get to station increases. So far I have leveled Monster Master to 50 and am currently working on the Vocation quests which is to increase the popularity of Monster Master to the masses. So far it's really cool and already recruited a few monsters and Drake here being my go to.
Ok listen, it is such a shame that DQX hasn't made it to the west cause this right now is an extremely fun mmo, even with the limitations of the free trial. The only thing I can really hope for is that the offline version miraculously gets announced.
