I think it's very funny in English to call the virgin Mary a diva, but apparently that's what they call her in Ukraine. Diva Maria - "diva" comes from the Latin for goddess. Anyway, controversies that never were:

• Mother Teresa might have been canonised, but she's faced a lot more criticism in recent years.
• It turns out that Catholics don't really think Mary was Just Like Us. Apparently, she was born without original sin. Wild.
