Here's my Art Summary! It's not everything I drew this year, and it's not in order, but it's a lot of stuff I mostly like. Some of it not as much as when I first made it, but... it's been a year of trial and error and learning that I think has largely paid off. Here's to next year and more cool art! Cheers.

I ported the PC speaker title music of my 2021 ZZT game Cyber Purge to the ancient and long-forgotten PC speaker music format known as ANSI Music, and then drew a new image of its hero Takami Bluesky to embed it in. The original .ANS-format ANSI art file has ANSI Music instructions for ANSI Play embedded inside of it, complete with prompts to press Enter to play or Escape to quit, but given only a fraction of people in the world would go through the trouble of downloading DOSBox and an ancient music program just for one piece of music, I opted just to attach the art and music together for this post. holy crap i just realized at the last moment that i actually drew enough this year to do one of these!

not a big level of technical improvement (almost none honestly), but i wasn't really expecting that. i was trying to prioritize drawing for fun and not letting myself get too stressed.

going forward i want to get better with colors. i stuck with the same palette pretty much the whole year lol. i've been looking at illustrations lately that have so many bright, beautiful colors. i want to draw more like that.
