really hoping i stick with it this time, but i have a history of giving up on this when i'm not good immediately, or just run out of ideas, or get frustrated with how hard it is to make a smooth line on a tablet. maybe saying something will urge me more to keep going and keep trying little things idk.
also lies with most of my other arts endeavors, where self-applying discipline for writing or music is out of my reach. The only reason I know piano remotely is because my mom forced me to stick with lessons until high school.
anyway if anyone has resources for an absolute beginner to learn how to navigate drawing and particularly digital software (trying out FireAlpaca) that'd be helpful! I'm working on memories of a "How to Draw Manga" book I read in 2002.
