

A 40 ft. study painted in preparation of the 400 ft. Chicago Fire Cyclorama (1892-1893), subsequently digitally restored as an interactive panorama for the CHICAGO ØØ project. A host of artists contributed, including Salvador Mége and Edward James Austen (composition, planning, color selection); Oliver Dennett Grover, with Charles Corwin and Edgar S. Cameron (figure painting); Paul Wilhelm (foreground, vehicles); Richard Lorenz (animals); Albert Francis Fleury (intact buildings); and C. H. Collins (destroyed buildings).
