As I'm sure you don't know, as I never told anyone, quite a few years ago I tried to design a character that was ostensibly a gharial - a crocodile endemic to India that I liked because of the incredibly long and thin snout. I wanted a character that I could throw in as a stand-in for myself in relatable-daily-life-true-story comics. As this was before I was even thinking about transition, I made the character male. However, as I learned from a quick check of Wikipedia at some point, gharials have some rather extraordinary sexual dimorphism; male gharials have a large nodule growing from the the tip of the nose. It is an extremely unfortunate look, and nearly all examples you see of gharials on the internet are female, presumably because they look so much cooler. When I learned this, I dropped the design like a hot coal because I couldn't ruin the poor creature with a nose-nodule and drawing a stand-in for myself with female features was unthinkable. In retrospect... yeah.

Anyway I remembered that all happened yesterday and decided to give it a second go, and I think the result is pretty fun.

Finally I’m back into making Reference Sheets again since I need to update my ocs/sonas reference sheets.

Here’s Princessverse!Princess Christmas themed Reference Sheet. In her Christmas Anthro/animal form. She’s a penguin.
