I was experimenting with some different styles, especially for the hair
for the second image (bottom drawing of the two on it) I based the style of how I did the hair on one of the original character references.

For the top of the two I based it on this tutorial by squid-nerds

the 3rd & 4th drawings were also somewhat based on it but I was trying to follow a little less closely, but still using what I learned from it.
