Hello! I'm Perpetual Motion, an odd critter who struggles to make small talk and never quite figured out when and how to like, share things, or generally interact with others on social media. If you want to follow me, it'd mainly be for the art and stories I post, since I've never made it a habit of sharing posts I enjoy given how minuscule my follower base is.
I mainly run in therian circles, though oddly enough I've never quite identified enough as therian myself to add the ol' theta-delta to my tags. Mainly because my idealized state of being is still human-identifying, but with a non-human body, as weird as that sounds. Alas, I don't get to make the rules for how I feel about myself, I just call it as I feel it.
Transformation stories have always interested me because of that, though less so the ones where the subject's entire identity is overwritten. Instead I like to poke around the intersection of TF and Xenofiction (stories from entirely non-human perspectives), and that's what I've recently started focusing on writing and drawing. I haven't really shared any art here just yet, as it's incredibly rough and basic, but you can see a few examples above.
As for writing, I'm currently working on a serialized story I'm posting here, chapter by chapter, titled "Transliterated." It's a science-fantasy story about non-anthropomorphic animals with a setting I've been developing privately for a long while, and while I have no idea if it's any good, I'll never learn and improve as a writer if I just leave everything I come up with to rot on my hard drive. If you'd like to read it, you can find the first chapter here.
So that's me, I guess! I'm also happy to answer asks about my work/settings/anything else on the off-chance anyone ever actually wanted to ask me things.
