An apt summation of DOOM mods to date.

i'm not entirely sure if my sketchy little doodle is going to work as a base for a proper sprite, but i might as well use my flailings to try and figure out better what exactly i want from the next ship i'm working on for the cerula mod project. apparently another mod already uses the name "Karambit" for a ship so i'm gonna call it the Yataghan instead (not sure if i want to translate the ship-class names into the Cerulan conlang, as that may make the weapons naming pattern go over people's heads)

the idea here is for a larger, relatively fragile frigate with huge offensive potential but little endurance. i want it to serve as a striker or even torpedo bomber. the possibility of 4 missile weapons on such a small ship is something i'm still unsure of but worst case scenario i could just lock the inner missile ports to something built in or just curtail the things' OP to stop the builds from getting too crazy
