#Ammie dreams

I dreamt I was Osaka from Azumanga Daioh. I was on a class trip somewhere, and was desperately running to get to the plane so I wasn't left behind. It was leaving without me, but fortunately the sub plane that was attached to it (a small plane with wings but no engine, hooked on the back like a trailer) was just within my reach, and I managed to get on board. An eastern European girl was also on board, and she did not like me one bit. A very creepy controlling teacher was surveying every girl to make sure they were using some kind of menstrual protection, but was shocked into silence when I asked why he needed to hear about my vagina. The eastern European girl burst out laughing, and we became friends.

I dreamt I was a hero man in some kind of anime or JRPG. The final villain was some kind of devil lady, and just as I was about to strike the final blow on her, she used her ultimate attack; encasing us both in some kind of crystal cocoon, and fusing us together into one person. Years pass as we slowly fuse into one being, and I eventually emerge aware of having been two beings, but now one. Human, but with devilish aspects, horns and claws included. And I realise that both of my previous existences had been in love with the same woman, and that maybe this new form didn't need to struggle with being good or evil. Unfortunately, in the years we had been in the crystal cocoon, said woman had moved on and found another partner. I drifted aimlessly after that, unable to really do good or evil.

I dreamt I awoke in the dining room of my house as it existed when I was a child, pre-remodel. But, I was in another world, some otherside that mirrors our own. There were precious few humans, other than those that had fallen across to this side as I had. But there were plenty of hostile creatures, one of which was a plant that managed to infect me with something. My right forearm rotted off, and was replaced with prehensile blood vine tendril things. Using these, I was able to fight off other hostile monsters, and swing from branches. But, if I was unable to defeat a monster, I'd lose more of my body, gaining more tendrils in the process. It made me stronger, better able to survive. But I worried about what would happen when there was nothing of my human body left.

I dreamt I had made a deal with some evil being to gain great power, I think for altruistic reasons. But, two entities were sent after me to keep tabs on me and make sure I didn't renege on the deal. A silent but intimidating monster man, and a black cloaked hooded woman. The woman jumped into my head, keeping track of me directly able to see through my eyes and hear my thoughts. The monster man would appear behind me any time I looked in a mirror. Proper horror show stuff. The kind of dream that should have made me jolt awake. But I've played all the Silent Hills, all the Resident Evils. I was scared, but taunted them, told them to fuck off. The dream ended with me riding a lift in which every wall was reflective, and they were nowhere to be seen.

These were all in one night. I woke up as tired as when I went to bed.

I dreamt I was a slave on a faraway world, being forced to build a space pyramid. My fellow slaves and I were trying to hide after doing something wrong, but every one of them left our little hidey cave when called for, and every one of them were killed. When I was the only one left, unwilling to leave, my captors stormed the cave, and were very surprised to find their necks being slashed open by a worktool I was using. Just as my fellow slaves could not comprehend not doing as told, so could our captors could not comprehend that one of us might not do as told.

I escaped, and survived by living off the land, killing and eating what I found. The question of whether the lizardmen were more lizard or human just didn't seem to matter, cause they cooked up pretty good.

I made it to a spaceport, and thought I finally had a chance off this unknown world. But then I was hit with bureaucracy, and was unable to leave because I didn't have the license required to fly a spacecraft, I only had a provisional license. But then I started a fetch quest to help out an official who might be able to then look the other way. I found this utterly infuriating, so much so that I forced myself awake.

I think the first part of this dream was inspired by Dragon's Dogma 2, the second by Breath of the Wild, and the third by Starfield. God Starfield sucked.

Dreamt I was exploring the magical academy I was enrolled in using my special rollerblades, wall riding and edge grinding to find all the secret areas, firing magic bullets from my fingertips at demons. Acquired a power up in the form of a magic radiator, which could instantly change the temperature of a whole room by adjusting the dial. I froze the lava flows and explored deeper

In my explorations I found the tragic truth. Heaven and hell were real, and you got stuck in one of them when you died. But you could die again, and again, being revived every time, in eternal service to heaven or hell, eternally warring with the other. And, they weren't good and evil; both were evil, but hell was at least honest about it, while heaven claimed to be good. There was no escape from this fate, just the choice of side

There are so many things this could be an analogy for, but this has gotta be the most metal dream I've ever had

A huge luxury hotel, five star accommodation, in a world where no one can afford a room for even one night. Every room empty, save for the staff. But the roof of this hotel the size of a New York City block is covered in homes built by people too poor to live anywhere else. Actual brick and mortar houses! With streets running along them. A half buried ark somehow lies in the middle of the street, acting as the middle of a two lane junction, holes in the bottom of the vessel allowing curious playful children to observe the unattainable luxury below. Maybe there was a biblical flood in the past, leading to this ark's current resting place.

I enter a fully functional diner, and find an old Jewish New Yorker eating sandwiches. He tells me he's been coming to this place every day to get these hoagies for thirty years, and wouldn't eat anywhere else. I pause, and wonder if a New Yorker would use the term hoagie. Realising I don't know enough about American regional sandwich names to ensure the authenticity of this fellow, I apologise and leave, lest my dream be dragged by native New Yorkers for getting details wrong.
