#Art sites

It's like the last bastion for any kind of legitimate freedom, tomfoolery, and smut to happen without criticism or censorship is going away...

Every major social media platform sucks.

FA's slowly going down the shitter again with the whole anti-ABDL thing, so who knows what the fuck's gonna happen there long-term.

DA has been sucky for years and has probably gotten worse over time.

And while I know of other furry art sites I could have a major presence in, it either seems like the community isn't as active despite userbase (SoFurry), or I'd have to start from scratch on a new site (Inkbunny).

I've debated on giving a personal site a go, but I am very unfamiliar with coding and struggle with learning it. I don't know if I want to start a blog again somewhere but, again, I'd basically be starting from scratch...

I'll admit, I've mainly lurked on here or used it as more a social media/blogging platform rather than growing my audience as a writer. But now that it's going away...I genuinely don't know where else to go from here.

You can find all my links on my carrd links site, but I wanted to once again highlight the ones I'm most active on.

For art, you can find me on Itaku, Weasyl, and SoFurry. You can also find my stories on Ao3. And as for social media, well, this was pretty much it for really good ones, but you can also find me on Mastodon. (I'm on furs.social, but thanks to federation you should be able to look me up on most other instances, especially furry ones like meow.social, chitter.xyz, yiff.life, etc.) I also have a Discord server, which is where I'm by far most active. Send me an ask if you want an invite!

So like I said, you can find all my links on my carrd site, but I thought I'd highlight a few, particularly because I want to try and help folks find more places to settle- preferably ones I use myself.

For art sites, I highly recommend Itaku, because it's growing in popularity, it's modern, it's got good features, and it seems to be well run. If you're a furry artist or enjoyer thereof, you can also check out Weasyl and SoFurry. And for commissions (both as an artist AND a customer), I highly recommend Artconomy. It streamlines and organizes the whole commissioning experience very nicely, and the owner/dev and his partner are very responsive, friendly, and active in maintaining the site.

And then of course, for writers, there's Ao3, which is probably the best place to read my stories if you're interested.

As far as general purpose social media goes... well, I'm at a loss. This was it for me. Mastodon is good if you like Twitter-like clones, and you can find me on the furs.social instance, but I've always hated that format. At least Mastodon has some good features that Bsky doesn't. Speaking of, yeah, technically I'm on Bsky too, but I hate it so much.

Other than that... yeah I have a few others, which you can find on my carrd, but I don't really feel like they're worth mentioning. Once again, take care everyone. Hope I can find some of y'all on Itaku, Weasyl, SoFurry, Artconomy, etc.
