Frances Mukaihara | Any Pronouns | 175cm (5'9") | 22 y.o. | French-Japanese
A former outcast who's quite good at making their roommate worry about them. They always choose laughter and love over anything else, and are fiercely loyal to their close group of friends. On the surface, they are a silly, yet unhinged individual who just simply likes to have a good time, their main talent living in the present. Beneath their stylish clothes and shiny accessories, however, lies a body riddled with scars and bruises and a person who's afraid of being truly perceived.

Keith "Kei" Zhang | He/Him | 180cm (5'11") | 23 y.o. | Chinese-American
A salaryman who's always a little on edge and dislikes his name. Due to his cooking skill, he has become the unwilling star of many a dinner party, all of them organized by his roommate. He loves Frances very dearly, and generally cannot function properly without them, usually turning into an anxious mess if they're away for a prolonged period of time. He hides this meltdown well, though.

basically, frances and kei are roommates who have a relationship that's more intimate than a typical friendship, but neither would ever even think to label it as something romantic. the so-called "secret third thing". one day i'd like to make a slice-of-life comic documenting them navigating adulthood and what life is like for them post-grad !! hopefully i can finish the project soon T_T <3 thank you for reading !!

Hey what's up! For one reason or another, I've never really let myself settle into an internet community before. But cohost seems like a place where weirdos can indulge in their niche interests without fear of judgement, and honestly that's beautiful and I want to be part of that! So here's my intro!

I figured out how to make a pngtuber thing work almost entirely off of native OBS (except spectralizer) so I'm spending the next couple of days working on a simple demo I can use for streaming while I make a more permanent one. Or maybe while I expand on the animation loop of this one in the future 🤭
