I had alot of concepts for this one but it finally came together

assorted characters of kenah, part 6 of ? - pirate edition. i only have two full arts for this gang so here's the sketch i keep meaning to finish and probably never will:

the self-styled "pirates" are really just a bunch of homeless kids trying to get by. they often have to resort to stealing and trickery to do so. someone ought to set them on the right path, huh?

1. iskoen: she/her, vaien (in purple). wannabe captain. has never seen the sea, let alone a boat. figures combining captaincy and thievery is the easiest way to go, hence the pirate thing. she’s brash and jumps to conclusions, but she really does want everyone in her little family to be happy and healthy and well-fed.
2. lurenna: she/her, vaien (in pink). plays along with “Captain Issy”’s antics mostly because she has a huge gay crush on her, and someone has to be the team mom. a lot more sensible than iskoen. good with a rope.
3. elika: she/her, vaien (in brown). the youngest by a long shot; surprisingly agile and great at sneaking into places. shy, but clever. she’s had a lot of hardships to be sure, but she and iskoen work hard to keep each other and everyone in high spirits.
4. aodel: she/they, vaien (in blue). lands somewhere between practical and airy, but is trying to be more independent lately and so she can get a little snappy at those who just want to protect her. a little judgmental, a little full of herself. doesn’t like stealing, but they don’t have much of a choice.
5. raharin: he/him, vaien (in orange). big on the braggadocio, height, and heart. pretty good at keeping everyone safe, even if he isn’t the brightest or even the strongest of them. he cares a lot about this cobbled-together family, especially aodel, who he basically considers his own little sister.
6. zilu: he/they, wevlin (in grey). pretty quiet and prefers to stay out of the spotlight. seems cold at first, but opens up to people he trusts, which is especially seen around the crew. he’s not one to waste time or energy. plays an old ram horn like an ocarina.
7. nalkaiyen: he/they, zethyl (in green). nal for short. a little younger than the rest. seems a little innocent and naive, but he lost his brother in a raid and let's just say he’s seen some shit. they and merry joined the crew together and always stick together.
8. merrivynd: they/them, zethyl (in red). merry for short. a little lazy and likes to have a good time, but fiercely protects the ones they care about, nal being first and foremost. loves to dance.

I wanted to update Vahn's outfit, so of course I drew Hawke with him even though he doesn't change as often as Vahn does. Vahn has like a dozen more outfits I should draw him in, but drawing is exhausting sometimes.

Anyway, new update for 🔮The Magician and the Bard🔮 serial goes up tomorrow. Have some cute full bodies of Vahn and Hawke to remind you who they are.
