Anything upcoming in the future that you're looking forward to (other than job)? A game, a film, an album, an art piece, weekend dinner plans, etc.?
Hmm... game-wise, the first tier of Savage raids for FFXIV Dawntrail will be dropping at the end of the month, so I'm looking forward to starting on those with friends! We're a very "midcore" group with a focus on learning together and having a good time, and I've always appreciated that. I'll probably start streaming our prog again, too.
I always feel like an old man who's out of touch with current media, so I never really know what movies or TV shows are coming up. That said as someone who (maybe surprisingly, given my art?) hasn't really sat down to watch a new anime in, uh, maybe over a decade plus, My Deer Friend Nokotan has a sort of absurdist premise and look (and maybe send-ups of modern anime trends) that I gravitate to. So I want to get into that and see if it hits for me.
Honestly I tend to keep my head down and bury myself in personal projects, and a lot of media I take in is streams as they happen or YouTube videos when they show up in my subscriptions.
But I've also been digging through some old art pieces that I'd like to revisit, so I'm looking forward to getting those done now that I'm kinda coming out of the weird mental pit I've been in the past couple weeks.
