We work as a dog bather, and our workplace has been very busy lately as everyone gets last minute grooming in before the fourth. Our aching bones aside, it's very funny to us that people want their dogs to look nice for the fourth. Dogs. The animal that's famous for hating fireworks. Notorious Fourth-of-July haters, Canis lupus familiaris. We suppose the real reason is to impress family at get-togethers or whatever but it's still strange and sadly ironic to us.
