DOG BEAR is a super lightweight single-session RPG I made around the simplest possible RPG engine I could imagine. Your character is built almost instantly - you get dealt five cards, check a table of information and then you can just roleplay that. Then, the cards generate a scenario of you fighting strange militarised weirdoes in a remote location as you and your team try to take them down and come up with the best way to do things, based on the cards in your hand.
The whole point of the game is to go from 'never played an RPG' to 'finished a session in half an hour' and also 'make lots of Metal Gear Solid jokes to make my queer friends laugh.'
It occurs to me that you might never know I made this, nor that it's weirdly, kinda successful in its own little way. You can check it out here: https://www.invincible.ink/game/tabletop/dog-bear/
