I think that no matter what, Ib will be my favorite RPG Maker Horror game. All that it does is just a culmination of elements that I love. I love the general atmosphere and vibe of the game. It scared me a couple times, but for most of the game, it's just weird, and I love it. Wandering through a weird art museum, sentient paintings and paintings that can just mess with you. I absolutely love the weirdness of it all.

The puzzles as well are also really damn good. On the first playthrough, it's fun to try and figure them out. Find the solution. Experiment. I absolutely love these kinds of puzzles. But on repeat playthroughs? It's so addicting to try and see just how fast you can solve these puzzles. And since I 100%'d it, I had done the puzzles 4 times in total. But 100%'ing the game took 5 hours, so I think it's worth it. I also really love the New Game Plus content. When I first played Ib years ago, I didn't play it. However, this time around I did it, and it's easily some of the best content in the entire game. It has some of the best puzzles in the game, and I would say without a doubt it's worth playing the game a second time just to go through it.

I always have really loved Ib, it's undeniably my favorite RPG Maker Horror of the bunch I've played. I played the remaster this time and I think it's just as good as the original. I'm happy to have played through it again after all this time.
