Kaye
Kaye is a Redguard trader who is in charge of the Shrine Sergeants of the Imperial Cult at their chapels in Ebonheart. He has a number of quests for those who join the cult.
As the Shrine Sergeant, his quests typically involve more action and combat than those of his fellows, Iulus Truptor and Synnolian Tunifus. Like them, however, he is rather pushy, as most of his dialogue is in the form of greetings.
"I told you not to come back for a full day. And understand -- if I do give you another shrine sergeant mission, you had better take your commitments more seriously."
the double edged sword is that this is solid evidence of cohost NOT being designed around brainhacking/addiction and being a platform you can use and explore at your own pace.
on the other hand, the lack of activity and churn does make things feel a bit...empty relative to something like Twitter. And it can make checking up on it so low-priority that (unlike Twitter) it can fall by the wayside entirely.
I think part of this is that I'm still on some basic level searching for "replacements" to these awful things, even if they largely made me miserable and unproductive. Because it was part of a routine. And cohost will never "measure up" in that respect.
And thank your lucky eggbugs for that! It's just... it's been so long since I've been on a truly SOCIAL platform that it's hard to adapt, y'know? It's hard to remember what I did before the consolidated web. And I suspect many users aren't even old enough to have a "before".
It's a challenge I hope we can weather.
