We went a little hog wild at the shops today and found a lot of guaranteed winner. All the anime is dubbed, as is only right for VHS anime. (See why we like that place?) My partner immediately jumped at him asking where he found them, which lead us to a really cool thrift store*. When I saw the Ranma 1/2 tapes I nearly flipped!! We have been looking for those forever, and it's a 90s dub so you know it'll probably be baffling. Also interesting were these compilation tapes that were hand labeled, surely from some old collection. The guy there was cool and gave me a beer while we gushed over the tapes. That's her favorite show (no joke!) and has been looking for SOME kind of tape with it so two big gets for us in one day. They had some reeeeeally cool obscure tapes and Godzilla VHS releases but those were all in the double digits, so I opted for whatever the hell Yongary is. We had already paid and we eyeing Money To Burn and the guy was like "Just take it! Nobody buys this shit anyway!" *_{I found this absolutely killer camera there I am probably gonna rush over to buy later this week, stay tuned...}
