It's Peak. It's Fucking Peak.
Anyway, I really have to hold back on what I actually talk about here, but I'm worried too much that I'll spoil even a sliver of the game. And I don't want to do that. Yet again, Suda51 continues to impress with another mystery that is just so engrossing. The fact that I made physical notes just to theorize and think about stuff within the story is proof of that. Constantly having to look at things in new angles, trying to fit all of those puzzle pieces together to try and just understand it all. And when a reveal happens, sometimes I just have to take a minute to process it all, and write down notes before I can even continue. I love stories like this, stories that keep me guessing, trying to analyze, trying to just figure things out.
And I really love the cast of characters as well. I think I prefer the cast of The Silver Case more, but regardless of that, The 25th Ward's cast is still amazing too. I especially love the characters in Matchmaker, there's such a good dynamic going on there. The puzzles of the game as well are really fun. They definitely feel more in-line with how the puzzles in Flower, Sun, and Rain operated, but I really like how they're presented here. Also the music just goes off, I really want to acknowledge it.
I absolutely loved my time with The 25th Ward, it was really a long time coming for me to read it, but now I have. This entire series of games so far is so damn worth it, and I'm glad I finally got around to finishing it up.
