i guess the weather finally behaved.
they're trying for a double header, so SpaceX has me held hostage by the river because my DSLR is rigged so I can try and composite this launch and next into one frame.
the shots I want to composite have a heron, let me get one of those too, will follow up once I've pulled them off the dslr.
updated with heron, no edits done to that photo
it's rare at this point that a barge comes in during the early afternoon, on a weekday. means I can catch the bus to go watch, without worrying about getting up at 4am for a sunrise return, or worrying about making it home for a late afternoon one.
I'm not the kind of nerd who could tell you which booster this was lmao. it's the one from Friday, I don't know what number it is and how many times it flew. that's reddits job.
I was gonna upload these before I even left port, but my phone was dying and I realized that I don't need to rush to "compete" with any other space photographers. I think I'm still the only one here???
