I don't watch commercials anymore. Am I missing anything?

genuine question! please explain as though i'm ESL (which, strictly speaking, i am.) i have heard both other writing and my own described this way and i don't understand what, specifically, it is intended to communicate

everytime I finish typing up a post my thumb hovers over the "post now" button and I start to think "wait who cares" before deleting it. this is one of my better traits, I think
