i am damn sure not a luddite, i love technology with my whole heart, especially ai and robotics. its just when pathetic assholes who couldnt be bothered to pick up a pen and learn try to take the easy way out and in the process turn art into a cheap, easily processed commodity and steal food off the plates from creatives that are already constantly undervalued
ai art is another symptom of our societys relationship with technology, in that it only remains the realm of capitalist jackasses that look at the potential of what technology could do and only see dollar signs instead of something that could help humanity and the world it lives on
we dont want ai to do creative expression for us, we want it to make our lives easier so we can make art. we dont want space travel to be a tax write off for pathetic apartheid manchildren like elon musk, we want space travel for everyone to see the beauty of our universe. we dont want to buy ugly deathtrap self driving cars and line techbro losers wallets, we want high speed trains and better infrastructure
we dont want technology to be spoiled rich kids playground we want technology to move everyone forward
