maybe one of my favourite things on the internet is the live cam feeds you can watch when the science vessel okeanos explorer sends down their remote vessels to look at weird guys and rocks in the deep ocean. they are diving every day (weather permitting) until april 26 and you can just hang out in your room and see what's happening down there

good things that have been said on today's dive so far:

"ugh i love the bottom of the ocean" (SAME!!!)

"schwup, schwuupp" (as a jelly they were watching suddenly darted away)

"interesting sea cucumber" (interesting sea cucumber)

"is that another colour of tetrahedron?" (lots of tetrahedral sea urchins out and about)

slowly but surely removing any of my links to my twt account because it felt so pointless when you want to do your own art, but the combo of
- people unfollowing when you post your own art
- spin the wheel bad update of the week
- not a lot of fun things / users to follow anyway
- rampant AI shithousery

means if I do lose my acc I won’t even feel much. hell I’ve never even been pressured to post for social engagement but it would be really nice not to be a fanartist forever

question to people who use 11ty and nunjucks for static site gen: what filter can i use to sort a collection in reverse order and then cut all but the first few? i'm having the struggle of a lifetime w/ this thing
