Fell down a hole of reading the Dolphin Gamecube emulator release blog, despite the fact that I barely play video games, have no particular interest in the Gamecube catalogue, and have never used Dolphin.

Technical details, regardless of their personal utility, are my shit.

Also, reading about the history of their attempts to emulate the Gabecube-Game Boy Advance link functionality: fucking stupid games hardware, especially fucking stupid games hardware that Voltrons to in-principle unlock Extra Features (that almost nobody will ever implement, and most of those in a bad and/or cursory way) are fucking catnip; the GBA link pushes my "oh, neat!" buttons in the exact way that the Dreamcast VMU does.
