I'm gonna drown my sorrows by looking at other obscure GameCube games I can't play :) Dragon Drive: D-Masters Shot from famed developer Treasure never made it out of Japan. This was in the height of the aerial combat craze.
Gameplay is part free-roam, like Zone of the Enders, interspersed by rail shooter sections like Panzer Dragoon, in the coat of a forgotten anime. Some of the attacks and locales go pretty hard ngl, but I also understand how it wouldn't find an appeal overseas when things like Drakengard were already incredibly niche.
