#Dublin CA
The GRIII is not especially flare-prone, but working in infrared tends to exacerbate flares. It's often necessary to shade the camera with a free hand and in this case I wound up having to clone out my fingertips, lol
Had to go do a civic duty in Dublin, which, so far as I can tell, is the most boring looking city in the bay area, even by standards informed by new topographics and the general horniness of american landscape photography for suburbs over the last fifty years or whatever.
But I'm all about this fire hydrant and the world's most lackadaisical barbed wire fence which someone has had to reroute around the fire hydrant after realizing that they were about to block it off and get cited by the fire department.
The first day of jury selection was cut short when a power outage took out the whole neighborhood of the courthouse. We were sent to lunch and then had to wait outside in the heat before eventually being told to go home and come back. (We would have had to come back anyway, since it took the entire next day to get through the process.)
On the plus side, I got a another crack at the fire hydrant, so I got it in both afternoon and morning light. I took entirely too many photos of it trying to get the perspective I wanted, hence my earlier self-burn.
