Anyway read Embassytown it's a perfect book
The thing is that when most authors try to write about how language is cool and magical and important it comes off as cheesy or self-aggrandizing. When Miéville does it? He makes me feel it.

I would never say Miéville's strong suit is lovable characters (which is fine and good) but he did write a robot that loaded herself into shittier hardware because it had arms and she wanted to hug her friend, so
Made the mistake of starting "Embassytown" yesterday and now I'm like, angry whenever I'm doing anything except reading that book. I should have waited until after I was done with homework 
It's wild how much Miéville's prose hooks my brain, literally nobody does it like him
