Some Xbox games are coming to PlayStation and Nintendo platforms in a shift in strategy, as Microsoft tries to reassure players with a business update about the future of Xbox that includes news of next generation hardware:

Go figure the rumors that started as "Xbox might port some games to other consoles" that somehow spiralled into "Xbox is going full third-party and ditching the Xbox itself" turned out to just be that first thing about porting games. I wasn't going to sit through hours of marketing BS to find that out. And then not even name the games though people have some good guesses already. Also some usual thing about "the next thing will be super advanced" etc.

Also of course the first Actiblizzard game they bring to Game Pass post-merge/layoffs is one I least want to play (though could be said about a number of their recent things anyway). Either way my prepaid Game Pass from a couple years back is still set to expire later this year and I don't really see a compelling argument to renew that. I'll just clean up what's left of what I'm looking at there until then. Still glad I got my secondhand Xbone though, that's been an experience for what I have had fun with. Plus whatever that's led to on PC.
