It says a lot about my relationship to Hero Academia that it introduced a lady American Hero and then like 3 chapters later has her die basically soloing the main villain and my reaction is mostly "damn, she was a huge fucking badass tho" even as I understand that it's not going to soothe any of the accusations of sexism hounding the series.
