i don't know if anyone here has heard of the shitty Reality/Game Television Show "Hunted" (a UK programme where a group of people are chased for 2 weeks by people with access to surveilance tools like financial records and ANPR), or its even shitter spin-off "Celebrity Hunted" where they do the same thing but with less relatable, unknown celebrities, but..
Season 5 (Five!!) of Celebrity Hunted features popular (and actually very funny) comedians Ed Gamble and James Acaster. and their run is... it's beautiful.
it consists of them making an absolute fool of themselves in a classic comedian style, to ensure they get some screentime. Then, they absolutely clown on the hunters, the conceit of the show, and generally the whole copaganda vibe of the thing. Finally, to top it off, they hide by travelling around a bunch of local businesses and making deals in exchange for being hidden, meaning the show has to introduce us to a bunch of small businesses and what they do.
All this to say. they are my perfect boys and i cannot believe they clowned so effectively on such a shitty (but admittedly sometimes fun) show.
