Block and unfollow to your heart's content. Vibe is bad? Block and unfollow. Posting too much politics that you don't wanna see? Block and unfollow. Any reason is good enough if you don't wanna see their shit. You have to right to not associate.

Keep your followed/follower counts as close to the same as you can. Keep that feed clean and relevant to you!

Turn off reposts on websites that support it, or have an extension that supports it.

Never look at the fucking timeline/main page/etc. Don't do. If you want to see what's up with someone, go directly to their page and interact from there. The main page is for those who wish to be upset.
