#Macron Démission
NFP predicted for first place, Macron second, RN third! It's still maddening that they got there but hey, we at least got the best result that was realistically possible. As much as I would have loved a giant sweep for the Nouveau Front Populaire, ending up with some sort of center-left coalition is a much better scenario than I feared.
Now it's time to fix our broken media system that's riddled with far right sympathizers, but one thing at a time. We can be happy for one night

The full numbers are 180 seats for NFP, 162 for Ensemble/Macron and 143 for RN.
The most important number on here is actually the 71 seats for France Insoumise inside of the NFP alliance; if the center-left coalition happens, they won't be able to easily cut out France Insoumise from it, who is the main actually leftist party currently (it used to be the Parti Socialiste but they haven't done any left policies in a decade, so...)

(I'm cautiously optimistic about the Left's chances to come out of this in a stronger position. We might even get the Prime Minister seat (if we're very lucky)! But the next few weeks are going to be wild)
