As you may know I've recently acquired a secondhand cart of Mario Golf Advance Tour and dug out my old launch model GBA. What was a bit of a surprise was that it was a Spanish version and it doesn't have language options ... I had forgotten it could be the case back in the day. Anyway, I have now seen most of what the game has to offer.

There were a few surprises linked to all that.
However, first of all, a little word about the GBA. It may be a GameBOY but it's always been considered a "she" in France. As you may know all names are gendered in French and while there's often some controversy when it comes to commercial products I don't think I've ever seen someone consider the GBA masculine. I've seen the GB referred to both ways, many people insist that the correct way to refer to a Game Cube is as a masculine object, but the GBA (much like the NES, SNES, N64, DSs, Wiis and Switch) is always seen as female.
