I couldn't be weird about sylvi's jojo opinions if I wanted to, bc she's objectively correct

At least this gives me a chance to go back and mention during the Surprising Win
How the winner of the fight was not a surprise in the slightest, lol
This one was a good Killua episode. There were a lot of good Killua moments throughout these past 4 too, I definitely get why many consider him their favorite.
And poor kid who's name I've forgotten! You've been training in this your whole life and these two main characters show up, are Main Character good at it, and overpass you immediately. It must suck being a side character in this universe! Maybe that's why Leorio is always so mad
Also Dungeon Meshi was very good. Its not often I watch a show where I've already read the source material, and its exciting.
But also, when I logged on Netflix said there were two episodes available. But only one of them was actually released? The other said releasing on the 11th. So why tell me there are two episodes then???
At least they're simulcasting the show, it was a bummer what they did with the last couple Jojo seasons
In this one we're watching kids learn about superpowers, and watching an evil clown fight a Yamcha
I'm not sure if this is a honest comparison to make. Stands were introduced in Jojo's part 3, Nen a fair bit into HxH. Not sure when either released compared to the other, and I'm not going to look into it (mainly for HxH spoiler reasons)(Also I'm incredibly lazy)
But also, like. These three episodes I just watched (30-32), had me wishing for pacing similar to how a Jojo part 4-6 did it.
Which Again! Unfair comparison! I remember part 3 dragging quite a bit, but the formula was ironed out by 4 and only improved from there! And I am more than willing to let HxH make the same adjustments as the series goes on!
But also, that doesn't mean I have to especially enjoy seeing something, then having a character explain the concept of a doppelganger for a little bit too long. Or a detailed play by play of the match After the match happened.
That's one thing Jojo's does really well. It loves explaining itself! But it does it quick, and usually does it while the fight is ongoing.
Despite this, much to enjoy in these episodes. Again, can't get enough of the music. The guitar piece that played during Gon's fight was wonderful, and the chanting vocal piece that played as Gon and Killua started meditating is truly haunting. I could almost see myself singing it back when I was in choir. (i bet it'd sound good in that dumb chapel up in sedona)
And when the cut to Anime Joker right in the middle of Gon's fight? Reminding us that he's still there and is very impressed. Great! Love to see him there!
Hisoka's fight was also well done, but again, wish the explaining could've been streamlined a bit more.
Lastly, and most importantly, or perhaps least importantly, there's a woman who appears briefly in the intro that I am going to be completely obsessed about. She's probably killed people but I forgive her in advance.
Anyway, I'm excited to continue on in a couple weeks. I'm enjoying the threads they're pulling with the spider murder club or whatever it was called. Excited to see how far Kurapika gets with his training, and eventually see what Leorio is getting up to. I think he's still my least favorite of the crew, but I find myself missing him.
