Surprised at how much this was a genuinely good character study into these two dolls and how they relate to modern gender roles. And it's pretty dang funny to boot. I do also appreciate how this movie mocks the need to explain what Barbieland even is, in a media climate that can't just roll with the metaphors. Pretty good time.
