I wrote a like 5 page document comparing and contrasting RWBY and Symphogear and why I think Symphogear does a lot of things that RWBY tries to do but better and then I realized no one else would care about except me so I deleted it lol
The summary of it was basically, Symphogear truly believes in the goodness of all humans and shows it plus Symphogear writes it female characters like male characters and aside I love that Hibiki is literally just some guy, she isn't a chosen one or destined to be a hero, she chooses to be a hero every single time
I love RWBY btw it's also one of my favorite shows but my biggest problem with it is it's lack of commitment to its central themes. Symphogear will bash you over the head with its themes until you can't even pretend to not understand it

I ended up writing more than I intended to again but I'll just end it here, anyway I just have thoughts about it
