#Sam Neill
The Omen III is...something. it's hilarious if only because it's funny to watch Sam Neill play Satan's spawn, but it's also spectacularly awful in its implicit politics. the movie fairly seethes with Christian panic about babies and children and the corruption of youth. Damien Thorn orders a massacre of children specifically to stop the Second Coming, though I guess he failed—honestly I feel like the movie got really vague on this important point, right at the end. oh, there's this too: you know Thorn is evil because his corporation sells soy products. the fiend!!
anyway, worth it just to see Sam Neill snarling "Nazarene!" or "the Nazarene!" every other line...

I am watching John Carpenter's In The Mouth of Madness for the first time and this is the best Stephen King adaptation I've ever seen.
He is watching ladies and guys turning into horrible worm monsters and is just like "Special effects and trick mirrors. You people are pros alright." And like dude I know this is for real a movie so obviously it is actually special effects and trick mirrors but you got thrown through a fucking wall bro.
