#Septagram NetCleaner

Septagram Internet Hazard Catalogue Entry 07 - [Client-Side Crypt]
Hazard type: Digital
Vector: Network
Danger: Non-lethal/Low disruption
Range: Limited

Client-Side Crypt is formerly a webpage depicting a white skull on a black background, followed by William Gibson's Agrippa (A Book Of The Dead) poem. Once a viewer has finished reading the poem, the webpage will close, and various dialogue boxes reading "process failed with exit code 12" will present themselves regardless of the operating system or software stack. The system will then throw a fatal error.

This occurrence does not appear to be harmful to the system and is merely jarring to the user. Filtering has been supported since the earliest public version of Septagram NetCleaner.

I still have my one world story gdpr data dump. this ornate tarball, gzipped three times. tar.gz.gz.gz. every time I try to navigate its contents I get lost. it keeps fluctuating in size. bigger, mostly.
I kept it in my home folder, foolishly. from there it started seeping into subdirectories. it's all the same thing, the "file" command insists. must be hardlinks.. somehow. something's broken. it must be in the kernel now
it's in the .config folder, the .cache folder. it's been eating the temporary files. every time I open my file manager it has to regenerate all the thumbnails in my pictures folder. when I open up krita it acts like it doesn't know my brush preferences. the tarball ate those settings too
there's no space left on the root filesystem anymore. everything's gone, but the skeleton of the directories remain. /usr/bin, /var/log, /etc/grub, it's all just that one file. vmlinuz is gone, but it still boots. like a corpse animated by a mass of internal maggots
at least I can still check facebook, so I'm happy.
