My current junkfood anime is She Professed Herself the Pupil of the Wise Man. Ticks all my boxes: female lead, video game setting, isekai'd protagonist, "oh no, I guess I'm a woman now, I suppose I'll just have to live with it," &c &c. It's been pretty bog standard outside of that stuff, but one thing does stand out:
After a handful of episodes, I'm 95% certain the author of the original light novels has a urination denial fetish.
No joke, every episode contorts some reason for the heroine to get uncomfortable about needing to urinate. And then, after she has spent some time unable to find a suitable place or time to relieve herself, the anime provides us with a gratuitous scene of her finally getting around to it.
I ain't here to yuck anyone's yum, far be it from me, but I must admit, it's definitely a... peerless decision for an otherwise mainstream animated series. I guess it's a step up from incest, at least?
Update: around episode 10, our main character encounters a group of tree spirit/dryad beings who, in exchange for their offered information, ask that she urinate on them, since her pee is magical and would "make for good fertilizer."
This truly is an anime of all time.
