I haven't been doing as much silkscreen stuff lately as I'd like, but hopefully I'll get some time to dive back in next month in between gigs. My school also just got some new risograph colours—that's fluorescent orange in the last one!
#Silkscreen
Some flyers from the fall of last year that I really dig. My old band Nanette ended up playing a secret set of sorts at that December gig that I felt pretty good about in spite of vaccine side effects kicking my ass all night.
A silkscreen print I made as my final assignment for class this past June. It was printed in 3 layers: red, gray & black (in that order). I drew the original image years ago (I think some time in 2020) with the intention of using it as the cover for a zine I'd been planning, but I'm not sure I'll ever get around to doing that now.
I'm so happy I got the chance to do silkscreen printing on my own for the first time this summer! I feel like I finally got the hang of it during the last few weeks of class—my early pulls (like #4) were super sloppy & inconsistent, but my final assignment turned out pretty sweet. Here's to a ton more this year!
