[INT. DR. LIGHT'S LAB. DR. LIGHT IS TINKERING WITH A MACHINE. MEGA MAN IS RELAXING. ROLL IS IN THE BACKGROUND WITH RUSH. THE LARGE VIDEO SCREEN TURNS ON. IT IS DR. WILY]
DR. WILY: DR. LIGHT, HAND OVER YOUR NEW BATCH OF ROBOTS. I'M GOING TO REPROGRAM FOR EVIL!
DR. LIGHT: WHAT? ? ? I WILL NEVER!
DR. WILY: NEVER SAY NEVER, DR. LIGHT.
DR. LIGHT: I AM SAYING NEVER, DR. WILY!
DR. WILY: REALLY? WHAT IF THERE WAS A CHILD DYING IN A HOSPITAL AND HIS LAST DYING WISH WAS FOR ME TO STEAL 8 OF YOUR ROBOTS AND REPROGRAM THEM FOR EVIL? AND THEN FOR MEGA MAN TO TRY AND STOP MY PLANS FOR WORLD DOMINATION?
DR. LIGHT: THAT SEEMS UNREALISTIC, WILY.
[THE MONITOR CHANGES, SHOWING A SICKLY CHILD IN A HOSPITAL BED.]
DR. LIGHT: OH NO.
WILLY: HELLO, MY DYING WISH IS FOR DR. WILY TO STEAL 8 ROBOTS AND FOR MEGA MAN TO FIGHT HIS 8 EVIL ROBOT MASTERS.
DR. LIGHT: . . .
DR. WILY: WELL? WILL YOU IGNORE THE DYING WISH OF A CHILD?
DR. LIGHT: . . . I GUESS WE ARE DOING THIS. GET READY MEGA MAN. . .
Jirard the Constructionist is being put back in the game! Generic Mirth male NPC, Bob, is going away.
They are also changing how the Constructionist operates. Now, you give Jirard and building plans you find for the betterment of Mirth, and then after 10 years you ask him when he's going to get those buildings built because they absolutely should have been built years ago.
Next time you enter the town, the buildings will be built and Jirard will tell anyone who listens that it was always his intention to build the buildings but he didn't know where to build them and wanted to make sure he had all the supplies, and how he was never actually dishonest about building the buildings, and that he has proof to that effect.
If you talk to him again he will threaten you for telling lies about him not having the buildings built in a timely manner.
(Also there appears to be a bug where Jirard the Constructionist doesn't have any dialogue regarding his proof. Hopefully this will be fixed in a future update or DLC.)
