I don't know what I expected. I guess I expected to hate it. It is certainly an...experience, to bring a cup of ramen to your nose-holes, only to smell the distinctive scent of those squishy little sugar pillows. The "sauce," as they call it, definitely has strong chocolate notes. These are flavors I do not in any way associate with ramen. And yet...it's not bad! I mean, it's not great, but it's Cup Noodle, we weren't expecting greatness here anyway. It's...different. And the combination of sweet and savory works here. I don't think I'll be buying it again, but it was worth getting one for the gimmick and novelty of it. I'd serve it to my minions purely for the easy conversation starter that it is. 5/10
