when I was in school, for the longest time the only place where I would receive direct yes/no questions from someone I'm not particularly acquainted with would be french class, since there wasn't really a lot of yes/no questions being asked in any other class, at least not directly. now whenever waiters at restaurants ask me a question I shift into french mode and blurt out «oui!» and it's embarrassing every time

Just saw a car with an ad for a company on it since people will be looking at the car anyway. Poor advertising in the end cause I don't want to buy something from someone who owns a Cybertruck.
