Unrequieted Eternity
A visual novel OST by Princess Sylvysprit
Bandcamp: https://sylvysprit.bandcamp.com/album/unrequieted-eternity-ost

In 2020-2021, i composed an OST for a visual novel dating sim game, but unfortunately, it was never released, thus becoming lost media
Thankfully, i have received permission to share all the songs with you!
The game's title and song titles have been changed from the original, which was one of the agreements for releasing the OST
(Though, i admit, i really like the multiple layers of puns and double meanings behind this new title)

I've always wanted to compose an OST for a visual novel, i was very happy when i was given the oppurtunity to do so in 2020 together with one of my favourite artists, the story and characters really made me want to give it my all
I've appreciated visual novel composers for years, i felt very inspired by PC-98 visual novels, like Ryu Umemoto's works on YU-NO for example, obscure stuff like Revo's work on Riddle in Riddle, but also modern indie visual novels such as VA-11 Hall-A (and even a little bit of Yousuke Yasui...?) for the music, but of course, i mainly relied on my own intuition and touches (so, basically, a lot of piano and subtle anime/Touhou/jazz influences)

I am very happy that i'm allowed to share these songs with you now, as they are some of my favourite songs i have ever composed, especially because this was the first visual novel i've ever had the honour of composing for
This OST holds a very special place in my heart, and i hope that you will feel something special when you listen to the music as well, i put a lot of heart into it, so please let me know how you feel!

So i had a rough couple days and didnt play a game past midnight last night, just went to bed. Since there wont be a midnight gaming post today i'll tell you a piece of news i saw today.

If you ever played payday 2 and follow that games journey, you may have heard of lion game lion who were the side developer for starbeeeze that did the bomb heists. They also made a coop shooter called raid: ww2 which was basically a ww2 version of payday 2 cept instead of mowing down cops and stealing stuff, its mowing down fascists and stealing stuff.... wait...

That game bombed however and it was at the time seen as inferior to payday 2, eventually falling by the wayside, going down as one of two games that nearly closed starbreeze via way of bankruptcy, the other being overkills the walking dead. Funny thing is, while everyone was busy with other things, the devs were still working on that game, infact, they just released update 22 on august 1st this year titled resurgence bringing a skill tree revamp amontg other things. I havent touched since its beta but im fascinated enough to consider grabbing a copy and trying the update out, simple enough since atm its 60% off.

See you all, tomorrow for real this time. Im gonna play something tonight for write about. Feel free to leave some feedback, anons are on atm.

Edit: Apparently it was done by 3 people who chose to work on a update without pay. Just noticed that.
