someone should start an event called "the game advertisements" but just have it be mostly awards and big long meaningful acceptance speeches, and maybe have a few ads but cut them short to get back to the awards
#The Game Awards
Congratulations to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for winning Best Action/Adventure Game at The Game Awards! It was also nominated for Best Art Direction, Best Score and Music, Best Game Direction, and Game of the Year.
I'm seeing more backlash than usual on the game awards this year since the phony pageantry of being an industry recognition event is hollower than ever
to all the "what did you expect lol" or "other industry awards shows are just as fake, let me enjoy the ads" pedants: the broad uncaring mass consumer demographic does not need critical representation
the flute guy at the game awards feels like he is completely oblivious and immune to the corrupting influence of the show, meaning that he is basically tom bombadil to me
