“Why do you help these strangers?" she asked Tiffany now. "They are not of your clan. You owe them nothing."

"Well," said Tiffany, "although they are strangers, I simply think of them as people. All of them. And you help other people--that's how we do it."

"Does every person do it?" said Nightshade.

"No," said Tiffany. "Sadly, that is true. But many people will help other people, just because, well, because they are other people. That's how it goes.”

There is a bundle of over 300 products on itch. If you spend $8 or more, you'll get all of them. The money goes to supporting charity work in Palestine. There are video games and tabletop roleplaying games.

For video games, you might be interested in A Short Hike and Coffee Talk.

For TTRPGs, I'd recommend looking at FIST, Ex Novo, Pine Shallows, Runecairn Wardensaga, and To Care is To Cairn.

Check the bundle out and see if any of the products interest you. Donate if you can!

i know this is a long shot, but does anyone here know what website i'm talking about:

  • it's a social media-type site, with a focus on artwork
  • the site interface was super basic, like something from the mid-2000s (but the website wasn't that old i don't think)
  • it did have galleries
  • there was a LOT of transformation and other fetish art on this site, but that wasn't the focus of it (at least i don't remember it being the focus, maybe it was? idk)
  • I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT IT WAS NOT FURAFFINTY because A. furaffinity is from 2005 (so it was from the mid-2000s) and B. i check that site every day for new art from the people i watch on there so I obviously know what the site is
  • IDK if the site even still exists or not but I know for a fact that I had an account on there but I legit cannot find it while checking my passwords on either firefox or chrome???

i'm kinda looking for a text to speech tool that is:

  • locally run
  • not machine learning
  • has speech that is, at the very least, understandable
  • runs on linux

i am not looking for:

  • something that tries really hard to sound human
  • a Cloud Service

basically Amazon Polly Standard Text-To-Speech but local. until then i'm stuck considering Polly
